Implementation of stabilisation measures

The Ancient Quarries NGO is going ahead with the implementation of stabilisation measures on the “winch stations” of the Nymphs’ quarry, in collaboration with the competent Service for Modern Monuments of the Ministry of Culture, which has approved the relevant technical study (see below). These two historical buildings are located at the entrances of the Nymphs’ quarry and are in a state of disrepair.

The aim of the intervention is to protect this particular monument with a view to their future use as a rest and information station for visitors to the archaeological site.
